DAY 1

  • Arrive in Medellín - Pickup at airport - Transfer to hotel

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Transfer to Jericó (2.5 hours)
  • Lunch in Jericó/Meet guides
  • Afternoon Ride
  • Dinner and night in Jericó

DAY 3

  • Local ride (3-4 hours)
  • Lunch in Jericó
  • Time to explore town/Adjust bikes/Pickup last minute supplies
  • Dinner and night in Jericó

DAY 4

  • Ride from Jericó to Jardín (3-5 hours total pedaling, 23 miles, 3850 feet of climbing/4400 of descent)
  • Lunch in Jardin
  • Afternoon in Jardín/Explore town/Visit Andean Cock of the Rock Bird Reserve/River Swimming

DAY 5

  • Ride from Jardín to Riosucio (4-6 hours pedaling, 32 miles, 5200 feet of climbing/5100 of descent)
  • Afternoon visit to hummingbird preserve
  • Dinner and night in Riosucio

DAY 6

  • Ride from Rio Sucio to Filadelfia (3-4 hours of pedaling, 29 miles, 3280 feet of climbing/4600 of descent)
  • Dinner and night in Filadelfia

DAY 7

  • Ride from Filadelfia to Salamina (3-4 hours of pedaling, 26 miles, 3750 feet of climbing/3000 of descent)
  • Afternoon river hike option
  • Dinner and night in Salamina

DAY 8

  • Ride from Salamina to Aguadas (4-6 hours of pedaling, 30 miles, 5100 feet of climbing/3900 of descent)
  • Dinner and night in Aguadas

DAY 9

  • Ride from Aguadas to Tamesis (4-6 hours of pedaling, 43 miles, 4200 feet of climbing/6000 of descent)
  • Afternoon Hiking Options -Cerro Cristo Rey (The Peak of Jesus the King) OR Cascada Salto del Diablo (The Waterfall of the Jumping Devil)
  • Dinner and night in Tamesis

DAY 10

  • Ride from Tamesis to Jericó (2-3 hours pedaling, 16 miles, 2500 feet of climbing/1440 of descent)
  • Options for morning hike and/or midday river swim
  • Final dinner/celebration and night in Jericó

DAY 11

  • Breakfast in Jericó
  • Transfer to Medellín Airport (or we can help with arrangements to stay in Jericó or continue traveling by land in Colombia). See FAQ regarding other things to do in Jericó or other parts of Antioquia
